Schedule: Monday thru Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator to work with various types of plastics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a small team while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate press equipment to process different types of plastic materials
Push, pull, and handle large rolls of plastic as required
Stand and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift
Learn and accurately read blueprints and work instructions
Measure materials using a ruler to ensure product accuracy
Perform quality checks and make adjustments as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Capable of pushing and pulling large rolls of plastic
Willingness to learn and follow blueprints and specifications
Basic math and measuring skills, including use of a ruler
Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a small group of coworkers
Manufacturing or press operation experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
