Job Description :
A labeler is primarily responsible for attaching labels to products or packages going out for shipment. This position often involves working with industrial and consumer products.
Desired job skills include mechanical knowledge, math, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within a team.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operating and tending to machines.
- Preparing products for delivery, storage, and handling.
- Moving materials to produce a smooth workflow.
- Inspecting equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Keeping inventory of Labels, Black Ribbons, Red Ribbons, Black and White pails.
- Communicate with Buyer/Planner and Group Lead when inventory is low.
- How to print labels (SAP).
- How to read Process Orders and verify correct number of labels and correct pails.
- Work with Group Lead for Daily Production Schedule.
- Daily Labeler Machine housekeeping.
- Maintain 1 Day ahead on labeled pails for production.
- Knowledge of how to run automated label machine.
