MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Position Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00pm-7:00am
Position Salary: $34.36/hour ($33.36/hour with a $1/hour shift premium)
Job Description
Our client located in Findlay, OH is seeking a skilled Journeyman Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. The individual should also be a motivated, detail-oriented, solutions-oriented individual who can work by themselves or in a team as needed. The ability to communicate with members of various departments is also essential. The individual will be tasked with pro-active projects as well as repairing machine malfunctions or other mechanical issues that arise.
Position Requirements
- Must be able to read and write proficiently in English
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, processes, and quality standards
- Knowledge of applicable safety standards
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance
- Trouble-shooting ability
- Work independently or in a team, as needed
- Detail oriented
- Strong electrical background
- Welding (stick, wire, and Tig)
- Plasma and oxy/acetylene cutting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Operate all industrial shop tools
- Ability to operate milling machine lathe
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing industrial machinery as needed
- Preventative maintenance on equipment
- Working closely with members of other departments to solve mechanical issues
- Trouble shoot and enact solutions to machinery
Interactions (Internally & Externally)
Production team, engineers, and management. External vendors as well.
Professional Experience & Educational Requirements
- Industrial maintenance journeyman card in maintenance, or a related field.

- Two years minimum of electronic controls and programming experience
