Position: Packaging Specialist
Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm (with opportunity for overtime when necessary)
Location: , Solon,
Rate: $16 – 18 per hour depending on experience

Summary – Prepares outbound finished materials for shipment to our customers. Helps unload raw materials from
our vendors. Assists operator in preparing upcoming production orders by staging product. Assists in the
removal of materials from production area to packaging for preparation of shipments.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
 Package, handle, and protect finished materials and raw materials produced on machines.
 Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving of products
 Assist other operators in the setup of production orders
 Assist the operator to help operate and run machine that slits product to customer specifications and
dimensions according to work orders.
 Locate and stage materials for upcoming orders and put back raw materials to correct location
 Responsible for detailed completion of work order paperwork
 Employee who is not alert runs a great risk of getting injured or injuring another employee. Training will
include other duties on the production floor to help understand all positions and processes.
 Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
Skills and Requirements
 Previous experience working in a production facility
 Tow motor driving experience preferred
 Must be able to read a tape measure
 Mathematical aptitude
 Ability to perform a variety of tasks on a daily basis
 Willingness to adapt to different production functions throughout the shop
 Ability to read/understand specifications.
 Ability to read measuring devices such as ruler, caliper, dial indicator, micrometer and scale
 Follow written safety procedures
 Manufacturing experience preferred
 Regular and punctual attendance
Education Requirements
 High school diploma/GED minimum
 Fork lift Certification a plus
 Basic computer skills a plus
