Purchasing Inventory Assistant (SAP)
Job Type: Full-time to Hire
Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 an hour to start
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and have some knowledge of QuickBooks. Individuals will handle a large volume of data entry of purchase orders into the SAP system (like an accounting software program), create letters in Word and create spreadsheets and tables in Excel.
The position requires the individual to work in a fast-paced environment and be detail oriented, self-starter and be energetic as you will be going into the warehouse, and upstairs to various departments, etc.
They will be working with the Warehouse Manager to confirm all inventory (shipping and receiving, container invoicing, logistics, and inventory analysis).
Job Duties:
Inputting and following up on purchase orders into the system
Data entry of all shipments (scheduling containers of incoming and outgoing shipments)
Helping customers with inventory details
Creating Graphs, Tables and Charts for presentation and inventory
Drafting Letters and Price Proposals
Keeping track of samples in inventory
Phone and email correspondence with vendors
Creating marketing materials
Other general office duties as needed
Qualifications:
Must type at least 60+ WPM
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
Experience with SAP or any other accounting software (QuickBooks)
Facility is a smoke free enviourment
Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop is plus
